SLI has advocated for the rights and futures of individuals with intellectual disabilities since 1971. We believe that individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities deserve a life full of opportunities and experiences. Since our inception, we have worked hand-in-hand with those we serve to ensure that they are seen and have the ability to contribute to our community.

SLI holds the highest level of accreditation in governance, community housing, and community inclusion from the Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, an international accreditor of health and human services.
